Alfa Romeo's EV Future

Alfa Romeo Embraces the Electrifying Future

Alfa Romeo is set to undergo its most significant transformation in its 113-year history, transitioning to an all-electric lineup by the end of 2030 after over a century of reliance on the internal combustion engine.

Alfa Romeo will expedite its shift to an all-electric lineup using the modular EV platforms developed by its parent company, Stellantis. Alfa Romeo's strategy is straightforward: unveil a new model annually until 2027, starting in 2024 with a compact 'B-SUV' positioned below the hybrid Tonale—the final Alfa Romeo to feature a gasoline engine. The brand's shift to electrification begins in 2025 with the debut of an all-electric model, likely a successor to the Giulia sedan, followed by an electric version of the Stelvio SUV in 2026. By 2027, Alfa Romeo plans to introduce a model in the 'E-segment.'
